Fragments of Nature

Port of Call is a joint exhibition by two experienced senior artists, Gwendolin Lewis and Robert Carter OAM, both of whom have included harbour, shipping, history and the working world in works to be exhibited. In subjects, themes and  colour there is a welcome optimism as there is a recognition of the supreme challenge of seafaring.

Port of Call for us all reinforces the right of harbour, shipping, seafarers, trade, commerce and community security to be respected and acclaimed. Sunlight and storm equally, the perpetual companions of daily sea-going life and work.
